Hi All,
I hope i can get some help here, At the moment when i use the publish command and select my .pc3 the pdf that gets spit out has ignored some of the settings, one of which that is becoming a issue is layer information being included. I have attached Image 'Plotter PDF Settings' which shows my settings image 'Layer Information' shows what happens when i pdf with the .Pc3.
The only way i can get it to not include layer information is running is with the settings in image 'Publish Settings', Due to how we run our department we wish to not do it this way. Can anyone give me a way to fix this?

Have you tried turning off the Layer information in Publish Options?
Hi pendean,
Yes that is how we normally plot with settings below, which has a edited .pc3 and thats the problem. for some reason it ignores the settings
Hi @TMCoBIM,
Please tell the version of AutoCAD you are using. Is it fully up to date?
Please apply a named page setup to your file and then etransmit it so I can take a look.

Hi John,
Version is 2019 but does it on 2018 as well.
Etransmit attached.
Hi @TMCoBIM,
I tried to duplicate this behavior in AutoCAD 2018. I opened your file, verified that the Layer settings is not included and then used PUBLISH. The resulting PDF does not have the layers shown in the navigation pane. What steps am I doing differently than you?

Assuming you have the settings below and have A2PDF selected nothing. This is whats confusing me.
Hi @TMCoBIM
What happens if you logon as a new user to the computer? Make no customizations to AutoCAD at all except to make the CTB available. Do you see the same results?
Hi @TMCoBIM,
It appears that you have a damaged user profile. Try performing a Reset Settings to Default and I think that should correct the problem for you.

HI @TMCoBIM,
It is unusual that a Reset did not take you back to original settings. If you have your data backed up, you could remove the existing Windows account and then add it back in to see if that works.
I dont have it backed up also the downtime with that is huge cost. Its weird cause sometimes it doesn't include layer randomly and also its does this on most of our CAD machines.
Hi @TMCoBIM,
If this is happening intermittently then that is a different issue. What kind of customization have you done in your systems? Are the plot drivers stored on the network per chance?

HI @TMCoBIM,
Ok - now we are definitely getting closer. You either have some network latency or some network permissions issues (or both). Try putting the files local to see if they behave. If so, then you need to try setting the network share as full permissions. If that fails then you likely have some network speed issues. IF it does work then you can try to tighten security on those folders.
Are those folders added to your Trusted path in OPTIONS?
