What are the standard drawing revision letters/numbers? My drawings are construction drawings.
Normally I use letters starting with A for the initial drawing set. Any revised set after is B,C,D,etc.
When the project is issued for construction, all the lettered revisions are removed from the titleblock. The issued for construction drawing is revision 0. Any revised construction sets are numbers 1,2,3 etc. Changes after revision 0 are clouded and a revision triangle is placed next to the cloud. If the revision is revision set 1, a 1 is placed inside the revision triangle.
My real confusion is when the as-built drawings are created. Do people normally make that a numbered revision and keep all the construction revisions? Or removed all the construction revisions from the titleblock and make the as-built revision "AB" as-built? Do you cloud changes from the construction sets to the as-built?
