Drawing crosshairs are rotated

This viewport that the attached drawing opens up to has a strange problem....the crosshairs are rotated in it.  I cannot find the variable to set them straight, can someone?   Even if I create a new viewport in this layout, it will have twisted crosshairs.

I CAN create a viewport in a different layout that has the crosshairs straight, but it doesn't satisfy my curiousity.... I want to know what variable is changed in this one....how do I set it correctly?

DSETTINGS is one of them, no isometric or SNAPSTYL

Double click in the viewport. Type UCS. "V" for View

Type in ISODRAFT enter O enter. That will get you out of isometric drafting.

Tried that.  If you try it, doesn't change anything.
