How to drawing a perpendicular line from a point on the line ?

I was just pointing out that if it were a command, it could simply be called with an apostrophe, just like any other transparent command.

 

On the other hand, it might be practical to include it into the standard RT menu, where it could be called by a key letter. I like this idea, I might make this happen.

This is what I have now. It just draws a line 5 units long. Just a quick simple tool that serve good it's purpose. :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

However, when I typed PF in command, I couldn’t pick the actual point on the ellipse through OSNAP, which is the starting point of the normal line. Any help is welcomed.

Focus on the part where it describes how to use commands transparently. That is what I was talking about.
