Don't allow printing from a Temporary file

Here is my issue. I have people open drawings that were sent to them in emails this creates a temp file. They then make changes to the drawings then print the drawings out then close the drawing. The drawings are not saved and they are then lost in the temp folder. Is there a way that I can make it so that they can't print from the temp file and make them save the drawing before being able to print. WE are using AutoCAD 2016 and have not started using the vault at this time. We have not set up the vault because we have outside venders doing drawings for us. Is this possible to do or does anybody have any ideas?

Training, Training, Training. For proper procedure and more.

Then there need to be management consequences for ignoring training and proper procedures, plus inforcement.

At the same time, you talk to your IT about disabling the ability your users have for opening files in their email clients as an Exchange Group Policy.

Nope, it's not going to be easy, yes it's going to hurt. You all have to make an effort to get what you want in the end.

Good luck.

I understand what you are saying these CTB files were created in AutoCAD 2006 and have worked fine for years and just this week will no longer work in the earlier versions. I get that same error even with the new CTB file I created in the 2022, 2019 versions. I was going to reinstall 2022 but it happens on any workstation I go to.
