Does the nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 work for AutoCAD?

Hello!

I‘m about to buy a new notebook for university and I’m interested in the Lenovo Ideapad L340 gaming notebook. It has a Core i7 processor with 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and the nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 in it.
Unfortunately, I read online that this graphics card isn’t verified for AutoCAD and I now wanted to know if there is someone out there who uses this graphics card for AutoCAD and if there are any problems with it?

Thanks!

I don't have experience with the GeForce GTX 1650  but there's an interesting thread here that discusses the differences between the GeForce and Quadro (which are AutoCAD certified) GPUs.

Ask your university if they have recommendations, if not, what you listed is good enough for most uni tasks students would engage in.

Good luck.

Hi @Anonymous,

I am coming into this thread a little late, but I wanted to share a couple links that will help with selecting components based on the system and application configuration:
