Does anybody have a CTB file to plot in Autocad that considers Revit files? the layers from revit is immense and it is really time consuming, when need to manipulate them in Autocad.

A Cad technician's life is really crappy when need to rework revit plans in Autocad!

Struggling to find proper list of all Revit layers, lineweight styles, colours and name of layers that contains what I need to keep in the drawing and viewports. Hope it does make sense of the non-sense?

Is there any official list of the layers from Revit defaults styles from Autodesk? If so, where can I find it?

(I assume you are referring to a CTB file.)

Can you not ask the author of the "Revit files" to provide you with a CTB file?

CTB files are driven by color, not layer.

In Revit. Install a free trial for Revit and you can explore it for yourself. The default for Imperial is based on AIA standards.

Thanks for your comment, I'll have a look at it. (still lots of hand stitching work to do)

Unfortunately, reaching the client isn't easy and I am lucky to received the crapy dwg from them. I wonder how the plans will look like be in couple years time after passing through lots of contractors Lol.

I wouldn't be saying such things when you don't even know how to handle them. You're talking about simple stuff in a way that shows you lack some basic skills.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
