display error line selection

When I select the lines, the display does not appear as usual. That is, the control points and the midpoint of the line do not appear selected, this makes it impossible for me to know if it is selected. Additionally, if I assign a line thickness greater than 0.30, the line disappears. When I change the display style to 3D it is solved, but it is very slow and I cannot work. I attach screenshots. 

I have even tried reinstalling the program. Still the same

First step: make sure your program is updatet to the last version.

Updates available in your autodesk account.

Grips: Also an issue if you select a line near to 0,0 wcs?

Set UCS to world,

Zoom to 0,0 2000,1000

and draw a line

as test

Try setting command: GFXDX12 = 0

If that doesn't work, use command GraphicsConfig & under 2d Display Settings dropdown select one of the other settings:

If that still fails, under GraphicsConfig disable Hardware Acceleration 

PS: Also a good idea to make sure you have the latest Graphics Card driver installed under your Windows OS

Turn off hardware acceleration through the GRAPHICSCONFIG command

This is a known issue on AutoCAD 2024 and it has been fixed in the update 2024.1. Please update your AutoCAD to the latest update 2024.1.2. This will fix your issue 🙂
