Discrepancies with linetype scale at plot and between different viewports

Hello,

I apologize for the linetype scale post but I'm confused enough with this problem at this point to ask for help. 

PSLTSCALE, MSLTSCALE, LTSCALE are all set to 1. Linetypes work perfectly in all of the viewports (matching between modelspace, paperspace, and in plots) except for on the new layout I've just created for details. All other viewports are set to plot at 1/4" = 1'-0" but I am attempting to plot details at 3" = 1'-0". 

If make a new viewport on the detail layout the lines do not scale correctly in the viewport or at plot. If I copy, paste a viewport from another layout, where they are working, the linotypes scale correctly in the viewport but plot incorrectly.

Have you tried to audit this drawing?

I had not, no. I did just audit the file and it has not fixed the scaling issue.

You didn't include the xref files so I am betting that the difference is in the xref's.  You would have to send those or bind them for us to look and be sure.

It's kind of a messy file. The xrefs are incidental to importing pieces of the as-built from the surveyor. They are not attached or being used and are not in the viewport. Could this still affect linetype scale? I've removed all xrefs and problem persists.

I now think that it is working fine. I was confused by linetypes being drawn in different annotative scales. I'm wrapping my head around that now. Considering that I was barking up the wrong tree with my previous posts and questions, is it possible to delete this thread?
