Directx 12 on AutoCAD 2020

I have a NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 with directx12.

However, in the graphics performance menu, AutoCAD tells me i'm using direct x11.

Is it possible to run AutoCAD 2020 with directx 12?

Or,is AutoCAD 2020 still running directx 11?

That's not an end user choice.

You can definitely switch which version of DX is being used. Autodesk has an article on how to do it very easily.

Not all DirectX versions are supported in all AutoCAD versions.

DirectX12 is supported starting with AutoCAD 2022, versions 2021 and some before can only use DirectX11 or DirectX9

@Anonymous only in R2022 if your system chokes, not in the OP's 2020 version. Now you know.
