Hi,

are you referring to dimensions from the "Annotate" menu or to parametric dimensions from the "Parametric" menu

Also maybe important: is the layer of the dimensions set to "no-plot" in the layer-manager (or are they created on the "defpoints"-layer?)

If you upload the dwg-file we might find the source of the issue much faster than guessing what you might have...

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

In addition to @Alfred.NESWADBA's great suggestions, you might also check the color assigned to the dimensions.

Is it possible to share a drawing or a portion of one so I can take a look at this issue for you.  I am hoping this will be an easy fix.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi John, Please, Please, Please help me with this one drawing.
I have used CAD professionally on and off for 15 years, I have just set
this CAD trial program up on my computer...I do not see why any of the
default layers automatically would be "will not print' and/or say "do not
use".
No matter what I do I can not get the dims, text or boundary (purple) to
print. I have tried opening a brand new drawing, bringing this drawing
into the "new" and I have definitely changed the layers to ones that DO NOT
say "will not print' and/or say "do not use" to new layers with the
attributes of what I know is printing.
Please help me.
This is the 2nd time I have submitted this question. Since I have not
learned how to use the "see answers by clicking here" (I can't find the
answer when I look, just answers not related to my question, frustrating).

Could you please, please, please respond to me with a direct answer,
possibly via email...donnasarch27@gmail.com
Thank you, Donna

Hi @Anonymous,

You are welcome to send me your file(s) so I can take a look.  Please make sure you include your plot style (CTB or STB) if you use one when plotting.

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at john.vellek@autodesk.com and please include a link to this thread in your email.
