Dimension text mask

can someone help me with this dimension mask. everytime i move the text, it will cover dimension line and the mask became whole...

its not overlapping. the dimension on top is the default output when making dimensions.  Dimension below where i move the dimension text to the side, but the mask cover the dimension line. I want to know if theres a way that the dimension text will be the same when moving.

i want to move the text together with the mask without disorienting the dimension line. The dimension line should still be between the number and the text. sorry for my english. It shold be something like this. with text mask

Then the TEXT OVERRIDE value should look like this:

<>\XEXIT\PLENGTH

thats right, but when you try to move the text to the side of dimensions, the mask will become as whole covering the line that separate the number and the text

Post the actual dwg with the issue. It seems to me that it is working just fine.

I use "Text override", but didn't know of your trick.
