dimension line extentions - too long at smaller dimensions

I am working with a dimension style created by another firm and for some reason, under certain circumstances (small dimensions) the tails extend farther than usual.  See image.   How do I correct this?

Hello @Anonymous, 

Thanks for posting in the forums. You can type in command line DIMSTYLE to get the manager. 

Under LINES "Extend beyond ticks" to adjust this.

set your DIMDLE = 1 and DIMDLI = 1 and dim update. thanks
