Dimension grips not working

Hello. I have dimensions in a drawing that for some reason, the grips are not working. I click on the dimension and the grips are there, but when I go to click on one to extend, they disappear. I'm sure it's a setting, but not sure. How can I fix this where I can use the grips on dimensions in my drawing? Grips on other items in the drawing, such as lines, are there and work and the layer the dimension is on is not locked. So it's only not working on dimensions. Thanks in advance for your help.

Working in AutoCAD 2022 64 bit version.

@lbellino4 ,

Try moving the objects closer to the origin of (0,0), or the suggestion from these links:

In the parametric tab make sure that the dimensions not locked as constrains those orders related to mechanical samples work

Please accept my solution if it is worked

Thanks for the feedback, but none of those options worked. So I decided to delete this dimension I was having problems with and created a new one. But now I have a different issue in the same drawing. The grips now work, but the text is backwards. Any ideas how to fix this based on the what is shown in the image attached? Thanks.

Ok, I did all this, but I need to create this dimension in model space when I'm in the "front" view, not "top" view. When putting it back to world in the front view, it's not placing it as I have it shown in the previous image I provided, which is why my UCS was the way I had it. Below is how the dimension looks now when I have the UCS at World. If you have a way I can create the dimension properly in the "front" view in model space and the text is not backwards, please let me know what that is. Thanks.

Sure, just type UCS and select View.

Can you create a svf file with SYSVDLG? I don't mind looking at it and seeing what var I think is causing your problem. A simple compare may tell the story.
