differences between "DWG to PDF" and "Autocad PDF" printers?

Hi,

what are the differences between DWG to PDF and Autocad PDF printers?

I'm sticking to the old DWG to PDF for backward compatibility, what's new with the "Autocad PDF" printer, shall I switch to it?

"Autocad PDF" probably came along when you migrated from an older version of the program, or it is a third party add-on.

Is AutoCAD PDF the old driver and DWG to PDF the new one? Or do I get it wrong?

yes, I jus wonder if there's any advantage to switch to the new one: compression? PDF/A support (no, there's not)? font embedding? compatibility?

"DWG to PDF" was the only one years ago the four "AutoCAD PDF's" were added later.

All four of those pc3 files in the folder opened with the PLOTTERMANAGER command are dated 10/12/14.

Choices are a good thing!
