Difference in Plotting on different computers

Difference in Plotting on different computers

Hi there,

We're having a problem with plotting the same drawing but from two different computer coming of differently.

Plotting from Computer 1 gives the correct margins as the drawing is set up. Computer 2 changes the margins so that the whole of the drawing is further down on the page.

I have tried copying over the .pc3 file from computer 1 to 2. I have also checked that all obvious plotting settings are the same.

Could someone tell me where i should be looking to compare the settings?

Thanks,

Caroline

Hi @Anonymous,

When you copied the PC3 file did you also get the PMP file? When you make changes to filter paper sizes or adjust margins the changes are save in those files.

Hi John,

I didnt try your way in the end (I'll try it if it happens again). I managed to sort it out just by setting the margins to exactly the same as computer 1 on the second computer and that seemed to fix it.

Thanks for the replies anyway.

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, that is the information stored in the PMP file. I'm glad that you got it to work.
