Design Center in Autocad 2016 is not allowing to drag

 I am trying to drag line weights and layers from one file to another and my Design Center is not allowing to do so. All icons are showing in Grey, not color. How can I fix that?

Hi,

please create a screenshot of what you have, in principle AutoCAD 2016 and DesignCenter are working well.

Greyed out functions/buttons in DesignCenter are not known to me ... that's why a screenshot may help to understand which icons you are referring to.

Hi,

do I understand correct that in that screenshot you try to draw a textstyle in the direction I showed with the red arrow?

If so ... then please recognize that does not work that way, you have to drag it into the drawing area of the drawing you want to have the textstyle (or other definitions added!
