Default programme choosing

Earlier I have used Autocad 2013 in Windows-7, 64bit O.S.

I have removed above programme and Installed Newer version of Autocad 2015,

Now when I am open any existing file to double click it's showing error (Picture attached for Reference).

I have tried some solution i.e.

On existing drawing file , Right click and choose Open with Option, then Click on browse & select Autodesk.exe file from the programming folder but it was not coming in the wizard.

Hi,

>> On existing drawing file , Right click and choose Open with Option,

>> then Click on browse & select Autodesk.exe file

Don't select here the exe-file, instead use the "AutoCAD DWG Launcher" as the default.

Hi,

>> I didn't found AutoCAD DWG Launcher file in my system.

Could be a defect installation then.

What was the exact order of your steps? Did you first uninstall 2013 and then install 2015 or did you first install 2015 and then uninstall 2013?

You might also try this exe (which is the DWG Launcher):

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AcShellEx\AcLauncher.exe

Then start AutoCAD 2015 one time (using the icon on your desktop), close it and see if a double click on a DWG-file is working now.

If not, try to start AutoCAD with right-click onto the desktop icon and use option "start as administrator"

First I have Uninstalled 2013 & then Installed 2015.1 Autocad.

I got that Launcher but still the same error.

If I first Open autocd 2015 and Click on Open then i can open any dwg file.

Hi,

Your first image is not an error messge, it's a question and so the dialog popup is ok, just click onto "Always reassociate DWG ...." ==> now all should work well

Your second image only shows the explorer with the acad.exe selected, but I don't know what you wanted to show with this screenshot.
