Dashed lines issues

Dashed lines in Model space are shown as continuous when I zoom out of the drawings and zoom back in. After that I have to reset the scale with LTSCALE from 1 to 1.1 and do this back and forth every time it changes. Any help is very appreciated.

Just enter RE at the command line to REGEN the drawing to reset the display.

That saves me changing the scale, thank you! but on the main issue, how can the it be prevented from happening at all?

If that fixes the display of noncontinuous linetypes for you, you will need to do that far less often if you use the VIEWRES command [answer "Yes" to the question] to set the circle zoom percentage value to a higher number -- may as well go all the way to the maximum 20000.

Hello @milianjr

Seems to be like a graphic issue. In the command line type in the command "3DCONFIG" and try turning it "on" if its turned off and see if that resolves the issue 🙂

Hello @vinodkl,

The Hardware Acceleration was already turned on. I don't know if this helps, the Video Card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super with Max-Q Design, and the 2D Display Settings is in "Advanced Mode". This is information shown on the same window from  "3DCONFIG". Thank you for the help.

Hello @milianjr

Hmm. Do you have the same issue in other drawings as well?

Also I don't see the graphic card which you are using in the list of certified graphic to be used with AutoCAD 2023.

Hello @milianjr

If possible can you share us your drawing so that we can test it from our end? Also it would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of what you are seeing to know more about that situation 🙂

@milianjr ,

MSLTSCALE and PSLTSCALE should be set to 1 - try this link:

Thank you @Valentin_CAD. I tried switching "MSLTCALE "from "1" to "0" and vice versa but it did not solve the issue.

Hello @milianjr

Try the attached drawing. I have set the layers of the dashed lines inside of the block to layer "0" and then set the layer of the dashed line block in workspace to "GT ROOF". See if this drawings works as you expected.

Also just wanted to know on which version of AutoCAD are you working and is it updated with the latest release. Check the graphic driver also if its updated to latest release.

Hello, It seems like it's a problem on my end, maybe something with the video card. I should be replacing the laptop soon, I will come back if changing it does not fix the issue. I'm greatly thankful for the help.
