Dasged arcs and poly lines showing different sizes...

I have a drawing in which I have set certain polylines as dashed linetypes. These pl's are arcs. The adjacent straight pl's are also dashed. The straight pls display as one lsefment length while the arc pl's display as a smaller tighter dash type. Is there a way to ensure that these two connected linetypes display at the same segment lenth so people realize they are the same object (ie a building under ground)?

thanks

Do some of the entities have an override on their individual linetype scale?  Select them and look for that in the Properties box.

It looks like they have two different linetypes to me. Make sure their linetype setting is the same. That is typically done in the layer manager. They might also have been overridden on the object itself. Open your properties manager (press CTRL+1) , select the objects and look at the linetype setting. They should be set to bylayer.  If so, make sure the layer settings are to the same linetype.

Also check their linetype scale setting. Make sure all objects are set to the same value.

That will make sure all of your dashed lines have the same dash length.

Linetypes all seem the same - by layer- and stuff you mentioned. Is there a scaling issue that could be happening? LTSCALE I don't know much about these. See att. images.

Found the issue. When editing the pen style one needs to turn the adaptive lintype 'off'. When turned on it attempts to shrink the lines to compensate. Which is really useless. This messed up hidden buildings, parking garages, and property lines that were not right angle boxes.
