Customizing Ctrl + Click for left mouse button?

Dear Forum,

I'm trying to customize the behaviour of the mouse on AutoCAD 2012. More precisely, I'd like to assign a specific command to Ctrl + Left Click, but this seems to be impossible. "Left Click" is called "Button 1" in the User Interface options, and only Buttons from "Button 2" seem to be customizable.

Any way to customize Ctrl + Left Click?

As far as I know, no.

This is from an older set of documentation, and although I can't find it in the newer docs, I'm pretty sure it still applies.
