i use a 42" (1067mm) hp plotter.

in autocad 2020 i had a custom paper size where the width was 1067mm and the length coming off the roll was 500mm

in the new version it keeps reversing the sizes and will not alow the 500mm to be the lenght.

every plot i do i get 1067mm in length and lots of waste paper.

is there any solution to this problem.

many thanks.

Your sheet size:

width: 1067mm

length: 500mm

How wide is the paper in your plotter? The roll of paper in your plotter must be at least 1067mm wide. If it is less, then your sheet won't fit which may make your plotter will reverse the length and width.

For example, if your roll is 841mm wide, then your 500mm width will fit within your 841mm wide paper roll. (You can't fit 1067mm inside a 841mm roll, the roll is too narrow.) This will leave you with extra wide margins which you will have to trim down to your final sheet size. The length of your sheet, 1067mm, is not a problem, it will cut off at 1067mm.
