Custom check in using work group manager

Hello ,

I am trying to do custom check in a drawing to winchill. I want to have the PDF of the drawing attached to the drawing in windchill.

Please let me know if there is setting to do this. In Proe I could do that by setting an option in with its location to a rcp file. I want do similar setting in

Autocad.

What is a custom check? AutoCAD is not ProE.

Hi,

Its just similar to check-in wherein we are checking in the drawing to the PDM which in our case is windchill. We are doing it with windchill workgroup manager through which we register the windchill server and then check into the workspace on it.

The idea to use custom check in is to reduce the load on CAD worker from where the PDF of drawing is generated when we do a check-in. Instead by doing custom check in the PDF will be generated locally (for which we used .rcp file in Proe) and attached to the drawing as a representation. I would like to know if such thing is possible in Autocad.
