Hello,

I want to create Custom hatch pattern for angular fill or circular fill, (Not solid fill, refer attached snap)

can any one tell me how to create this type of hatch, or is it possible to do in Autocad ? or can we create it  through some Auto lisp routine .

any help much appreciated.

Hi,

i know that you're asking about doing this by Hatch command . BUT i just want to remind that you can also achieve it by another CAD commands :

  • angular fill : you can try ARRAY command with polar option .
  • circular fill : you can try OFFSET command with multiple option .

Hi, Thanks for your reply,

you right i know that but i need this as hatch pattern because i have to use in specific dynamic block and want to set it as associative hatch, if i use offset or array then i have to set complicated  constraint , that what i want to avoid offset or array.

Since the Customization Forum is the better place for this, I refer to the thread on the same topic over there.

The dynamic-Block aspect should work for the radial-lines pattern as defined there, but the concentric-circles pattern is not likely to be possible, as far as I know.  [Unless, perhaps, you can make Wipeouts  part of the dynamic Block, and cover over  parts of Offset Circles that are outboard of your desired area.  But that would probably limit the size you could make the whole thing, unless the dynamic-ness can include triggering the addition of more Circles as it gets bigger....]
