ctrlshift c then ctrl v copyclip w/ basepoint and pasteclip to another dwg

two dwgs open, ctrl+shift+c allowed copyclip w/ base point, the ctrl v allowed pasting to another dwg to a new basepoint.  Had 2010, now have 2017. This is not working.  Help!

I believe those are still the default shortcut keys but you can check and set the keyboard shortcuts with the CUI command just expand Keyboard Shortcuts and expand Shortcut Keys and set them as you want them. see pic

Thanks all, but what was tough is that I've been doing that successfully but when 2017 was installed that wouldn't work.  So I created a little tool bar that took care of it.  Meanwhile, a colleague had me check the classickey variable, and now it works!

That is to say, I set "classickeys" variable to 0, and now I'm a happy guy!
