Hello Everyone!

So I just upgraded from CAD 2018 to CAD 2022, and for some reason when I import the CTB that I been using for quite some time now it doesn't overwrite the settings. When I plot, all my lines are super thick and is not reading the correct CTB line weights. I imported the CTB in the right location but for some reason is not detecting my settings, can someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong? I need to submit a set of plans tomorrow to the client and Im desperate.

Please see attached my screenshots how is currently plotting vs how it was a week ago before upgrading to 2022

Thanks

I haven't used CTB files in decades, I prefer using lineweights, white screen background, and black/gray line colors when making 2d construction drawings. BUT...

Have you verified in "Plot options" in the plot dialog box, that "Plot object lineweights" is unchecked (desireable if you are using CTB files) and "Plot with plot styles" is checked?

It would be most helpful if you shared with us your actual CTB file and your DWG file that you use for screenshots for us to try. Do so now please.

Please see image 4.  Lets take A-windows layer as an example. in my CAD is reading as 0.9mm and in my CTB is set at 0.1MM

That might be your problem. If you are using CTB files, you should un-check "Plot object lineweights".

Your CTB file sets yellow to .01", which is .25mm. But your layer properties sets that layer to .09mm. Since your CTB file is measuring in inches, try setting that yellow to 0.004" to match the .09mm setting in the layer properties.

Or... since you have lineweights set for those layers, don't use the CTB file, just use object lineweights and don't use plot styles.

Use ETRANSMIT command to bundle your DWG file along with your CTB in a ZIP file then share here please.
Our files and your CTB is not going to work.

You can also change the "Units for Listing" to mm in the "Edit Lineweights" section at the bottom of the table view of the plot style table editor.
