Creating Multiple Layout sheets a little quicker.

(CTRL + Left Click Drag and drop)

See video below.

Keep in mind their is always more ways than one to achieve a task in AutoCad.

Quicker than what?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Wow, where is your sense of humor? That part of my signature is a joke, a pun. Ya know? A draft is slight air movement, so is a breeze. SMH...

That makes new blank Layouts.  I think the idea is that the Ctrl+Left-click drag-&-drop method is a quicker way to make copies of one, so as to have whatever is in one, such as a Title Block or a Viewport already set up, in the copies, too, without all the steps demonstrated at the beginning of the video [right-click on a Layout tab, choose Move or Copy..., in the dialog box choose where to put it and pick Make a copy, and pick OK].

Indeed sir first part to show the long steps to make it with the plus button. Last part is to show the quicker way I do agree possible audio voicing it out would leave little room for confusion out. Indeed if you draft you want your sheets to match. I need work on my discription more thank you for assisting sir

That is a long way indeed, watch the video link attached in the comments. If you draft you know you want your 20pages document to align with each other. CTRL + Left click is a copy of your selected sheet setup 100% the same. Ofcourse I am not a expert in autocad and with it always changing you can always learn a lot. The post was not to ask for help but simple share a screen cast I might need label and describe  better. Thank you for the input sir.

Yeah, it seems there's some kind of language barrier happening throughout this thread, starting with the first word of the topic which should have been copying. It seems to have kind of set a tone for entire conversation. It's funny how that works sometimes.

Trying to avoid the confusion.

Also avoid non productive comments.

as all the comments posted the video link explains it self.

Press solutions it would guide you to the answer so one does not need to comment first.

Solutions that don't have questions is confusing.

But what is the question?

How's that working for you? It makes me question why you have made so many nonproductive comments yourself? If you're concerned about it, why do it yourself?

Sir

As I look at the comments I see  " quicker than what ? "

We see  " what about the + sign click and create ? "

We see   " no video ? "

Ken posted a well structure comment I feel is good solution to my poor description and title I gave.

Hence selected as solution to the confusion there seems to be .

Second solution is the link to the screen cast for some reason did not share with the original post.

Hence clears up the no video comment.

Interesting tip I found and wanted to share, as I do see I'm partaking in the  knowledge network.

I do however found , maybe screen cast is not for forum question ?

As a veteran that I can clearly see you are.

Can you direct where one can post screen cast like this.

The goal essentially is to share and learn with constructive input, as this is AutoCAD and there is always more than one way. In this way of course whit good input I can even learn more, might be next girl or guy can think what Rob said actually works and is good might be even more convenient for them to use ?

I might completely miss understand the whole Knowledge network ?

Yes I apologize sir for taking part in replying in your fruitful conversation  as this would have no end.

Have a good one sir and looking forward to seeing your input in the next Tutor Tuesday ^^
