Creating a "popup" in an attribute

I am working on creating a new border & title block for our firm. I was wondering if there was a way to assign/build an attribute so it can be completed by making a selection from a popup list / menu. For example, we work with a couple dozen architecture firms regularly. It would be nice if when an engineer does a drawing for them to be able to go to the "Architect" section of the title block and complete that section by picking that architect from a popup list rather than typing it in. Even better yet would be if once selected from the popup, if the corresponding contact info attributes for that architect could be "auto populated" as well. I've done this type of thing often in databases I've created. Just wondered if there was a way to implement this in ACAD of if it's just wishful thinking. Thanks in advance for any insights! Steve
