Create rectangle with hatch pattern only by edge

As shown in the attachment, how do I create a building outline in the same way?
Along the edges of the building they appear to have 2 lines and then a hatch a certain distance away from the line.

How do I do this? Do I need to make a new line type?

Just offset and hatch

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

as shown from below image ( and mentioned above )... just make an offset ( red line ) from your edge line then hatch the new offset space area then delete the red line .
