I am running 2008 version. I have xrfed an Architectural plan but the plan just vanished when I did view all. I tried every thing I know. I inserted at 0,0. When I tried Ctrl A it shows the blue spot but will not enlarge. I have attached the etranscript file along with the xref file. I believe there is a problem with XREF file.
Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Hi, @apanbasu
First i seen you two cad files are error, you need to RECOVER & RECOVERALL.
This CAD file [20-007-M-101] i recovered then again showing error, then i use comment WRITE BLOCK, now its OK
Second Xref file missing "Not found" refer attachments & please upload missing file
Please give me a bit more detail on this issue so we can continue to work towards getting this solved.

I checked my etransmit file it shows the xref. I was afraid this may happen that is why I had attached the xref file. I have done the recovery of both files and both of them came out alright. The xref file is still not visible after Window zoom. Control A highlights insert point but will not zoom.
I have attached again the zip file and the xref file. these files have gone thru recovery.
Many thanks for extending the helping hand.
Hi,
Did you try "ZOOM" and then "EXTENTS"?
Yes I tried every thing. Instead of waiting for a response - what I did is copy pasted the architectural file on blank sheet. there are sections not showing up. I drew those areas and then save the file with a different name. Opened my base mechanical Plan and then xrefed the new Architectural plan and it worked.
I have not seen this type of drawings before. Walls doors are in some form of blocks. You will see the block numbers in the attached Architectural floor plan. When the Architect send me the PDF - the walls doors are graphically presented. In my plot those numbers are visible without the graphical picture of the door or walls. It does not bother me with my work. So, I let it go.
Thank you for your helping hand.
Hmm. The architecture plan is created with autocad architecture, so it's not compatible to be opened with plain autocad. What you could do is export the architecture drawing to be able work with plain. It can be done by using the command "AECTOACAD". Look in help to see how AECTOACAD works.
