copying with base point and parts of drawing are lost

Hello, I am a new auto cad student. We are given a block (watermark.dwg..) and told to copy with base point (0,0,0) and control v into model space (0,0,0), my block is pasted there but is missing parts of the original block although it is all one block so I don't understand how this could be happening? I have tried regen, and also starting a new drawing about 50 times. I would love some ideas! Thank you. (I am using auto cad 2021)
