WHY ? and how can this be changed ? No, not interested in reformatting and changing the CO command to C - because that is the circle command 25 years ago and today

same for Mirror ??? MI always triggers Move ???

Many others ... SL goes to Stretch

ok when i type real slow it works ... but that is so sad

3D ... 2D slice command no longer works in certain instances ???

3D rotate along an axis ??? disappeared ?

Just venting because if you have a command and you had it for 30 years - keep it - so old guys like me can use it

I would suggest all cars for software developers should have the gas pedal and break pedal switched - just so you look like a complete idiot when you drive. (hey, in rush hour you use the break more often than the gas - that is why we switched it - Karl and Gottlieb or Henry in the US were fools to use the pedals the other way )

have a good day

I'm sorry your feelings are hurt but you should take some of your own advise and think about how you talk to people.

"Sorry, the command didn't change. If you don't like change, don't update"

"no one around here really cares what ancient software use or how brilliant it is. Just saying "

Statements  like these are not helpful and make you sir sound like a dick. I stand by what I said.

My feelings aren't hurt. Your problems are not with the program. You've got other issues that cannot be solved here. Go troll some other forum.

Totally uncalled for. This forum is not the place for name calling and it makes you like childish.

And the Message quoted has been removed, in accordance with the >Community Rules and Etiquette<.  Everyone please read that, particularly the "Termination and Cancelation" paragraph at the end.

I am sorry I seem to have caused some people to get offended - But, hey -
make things work. And test them with real people not IT geniuses. For
instance there seem to be 23 replies to my original post, but I can not see
them - would it not be obvious there would be a button to press "see all
replies'' - or make all replies visible in the first place. Just wondering
... not all change is good - not all new software is good - check the
Phenix software for the city of Toronto ! Autocad is still good and I love
the render software in 3D, but I miss the days when there was an autocad
classic setting 😉 not a fan of my UCS flipping in millimeter proximity to
all my 3D lines.

Perhaps you're not aware that posts are shown in "pages" of 10 at a time.  There's one of these at both top and bottom of the page, where you can see the rest in the other pages:

Complaining doesn't fix anything. What have you done to fix it yourself?

What have I done? Well, nothing of course. I have no access to the source code, and as such, I can't fix the issue at hand ... or even pay someone to do it for me. All I can do is make a complaint, hope there is an answer out there, and that some kind soul might help me find it.

I, and the  C3D/Acad designers in my office, have have had the command line misfires this post describes since at least v2020. Easily replicable. We've tried all the fixes available via Google searches, this forum, and Autodesk support. We're using some high end hardware to boot.

Commiserating with other human beings isn't a useless activity.

Reading through this chain, I assume that you don't understand how your replies come across. Most of the words you've added  are not helpful. In fact, they've wasted my time. As a fellow design professional, I suggest you make some modifications to your style so the useful advice you give doesn't come across as insulting, prideful, and belittling.

Your complaints belong elsewhere.

Could you send me a link to the appropriate forum?

Sounds like a win/win for you.

If you know how to solve the issue at hand, that would be awesome. You'd
have helped thousands of people, and I'd accidentally be one of them.

And if you also know of a place where complainers like me can air our
grievances with expensive software that doesn't work right, that would get
us out of your hair entirely.

Sorry, I stay away from those annoying places. I'm sure you can find an appropriate place on your own.

Ah, too bad. Guess you're stuck with folks like me handing around the only
known place Autodesk provides to seek help from the user community.
