Copy and Paste not working in autocad layout

Hi all, I have had a problem with copy and past in layouts in which case copy and paste only work for 2 or 3 times in layout and after the times copy and paste doesn't work at all and I have to quit and start again my drawing file. does anyone know how to resolve that problem??

Thanks for posting. Does this happen with every object & on a new drawing? 

I have listed some steps you can run though:

1. Open a new drawing & test copy/paste 
2. If its the drawing: Repair corrupt AutoCAD files  

3. Try reviewing the SYSVARMONITOR to see what system variables are set

4. Share your drawing with us so we can test it out
