My toolbar at the top of the screen doesn’t show the coordinates how do I add this to my toolbar. I’m a complete beginner at autocad and am trying to draw a 3D model

Hi @Anonymous,

In the icon on the lower right, check Coordinates.

I see what you mean now. You are looking for the Coordinates Panel in the Ribbon. You have to change the workspace. You are currently using the standard 2D drafting workspace and you need to switch to the 3D workspace. There should be a little GEAR icon at the bottom of the screen. Left-Click that. It will open a window with a list of Workspaces. A wprkspace defines which tools are on your screen in toolbars, or in the Ribbon. The Ribbon is the "toolbar" and icons across the top of the screen. So click the gear, then click on the 3D Modeling option. This will switch your Ribbon to display the 3D tools. You will then have access to the coordinates panel in the Ribbon.

You are describing the Coordinates Panel, not the coordinates toolbar. To get the coordinates panel, you will need to change your workspace to 3D Modeling. See image below.

Change your workspace to '3D Modeling.'Change your workspace to '3D Modeling.'
