Coordinates in table

Hello Everyone,

We have received a drawing from our client by email. When we open the drawing by AutoCad 2020 from the mail, for example, positions of drillings are indicated with a Block Reference with coordinates are displayed of the locations of the drillings.

These coordinates are presented in an autocad table. When locations of the drillings are moved, this is also reflected in the table.
When we save the drawing as a 2018, 2013 or 2010 version of autocad and open this drawing again after closing, the values of the coordinates are displayed as ####, see attachment.

Does anyone have an idea how to display the changed  coordinates instead of ###. I'm asking this question because the person who set up the drawing is not available due to holidays.

Thank you everyone in advance.

First of all you should always first save the attachment from the email to a regular dwg.

Check what happens when you open that file. Are the table values stil readable or are they already converted to ###.

The ### most of the time shows that the value is to big to fit inside the table. Maybe the font being used cannot be found and is replaced by another font.

You may try to use the UPDATEFIELD command to see if the values show correct.

Otherwise can you post (part of) the (original) drawing with which you experience this behavior?

Hi,

Saving a drawing in an earlier release format may cause some data loss .

I'm working with autocad 2020. Thats why we first saved the drawing as a 2018 autocad file.

Because thats didn't solved the problem we also saved the drawing as a 2013 and 2010 autocad file.
