Converting surfaces (edgesurf or Loft) into solids

Hi. I'm designing a boat as best I can with basic Autcad. I have forgotten how to turn Edgesurf or Loft surfaces into solids. Can anyone assist? Perhaps there's a good online tutorial? I couldn't find one in youtube.

I've attached an example of my boat surfaces.

Thanks

Have you tried SURFSCULPT or THICKEN commands?

Thicken seems to have done the trick.
Fantastic my friend. Thanks!!!

There are duplicate parts on the port side hull. presume the piece that is the entire length of the hull is correct?

THICKEN may fail if the solid intersects itself.  Two examples with the hull.  left one fails, to right works with two thickened pieces and UNION

parts on layers is personal preference as I can work with fewer objects as compared to all on one layer. Also helps to find errors sometimes such as the duplicate parts.

Thank you so much for your reply my friend.
Yes, duplicates are a common occurrence with my limited drawing style. I looked again at the dwg and was able to resolve the front left panel. All surfaces were lofted and then thickened. This seems to have done the trick.
I'm very much at the beginning with this project. The ambition is to create an stl file for 3d printing. If I can convert all surfaces to solids and as you suggested, union them, I may be in with a chance. I will then have a nice wee toy. Not much use but fun! Then I hope to refine the design and create the individual components and glue them all together, simulating manufacture.
Again, thank you so much for your assistance.
