Converting Revit to Autocad- Objects

I have a file that was converted from Revit into Auto cad but all the symbols didn't carry over. The room names, door, and window symbols wont show up. A Proxy Information box shows up with: do not show proxy graphics, show proxy graphics, and show proxy bounding box; I've checked all options and the information still does not show up. 

I am currently using Auto Cad 2012, if the issues is my version of Auto Cad I can always update. What can I do to get the symbols to show up.

You need to be talking with the REVIT person that converted the file for you about the missing content: they may have skipped a step or not grab all that you need. Otherwise the only upgrade you need to be doing is probably to REVIT.
