Most of this model is solid. Parts of the mane are still mesh. There is a "hole" that I am detailing in my second screenshot underneath the mane that I have tried to fill. I tired extracting the edges of the model and to create a bpoly area to complete the underneath to no avail. I was not able to create a closed polyline or a bpoly either. There always seems to be some error message.
I tried exporting STL to look at the model in 123d meshes however when I export I only see a part of the nose. Ultimately I have to get the entire model out to an STL file not just a part of it.
