Converting from 3D to 2D

Converting from 3D to 2D

Hi there,

Previously I was able to convert any 3D view of an object into a 2D equivalent but since updating it seems I can only now do this if the section plane cuts through the object? But I don't want this as I want a view of the whole object.

Any ideas on what's going wrong here?

then you have to set your needed view then use FLATSHOT command and / or SOLPROF command from layout space.

True,

However, Viewbase is a command only available when the ModelDoc menu is loaded.

If the command gives an error:

Type Menuload

Click [ Browse ]

Browse to the support folder (where the main AutoCAD menu is too) and select the Modeldoc.cuix.

Click [ Open ]

Click [ Load ]

Click [ Close ]

Viewbase should be available now.
