Does anyone knows what is happening because I can't use the control key for moving cursor freely?

Thanks!

Forget to use the arrow keys when holding down the CTRL key? there usually is a 1-second delay before it kicks-in/you see any movement, and it is tied to your SNAP settings too on how far/quick it moves.
OR... are you on a keyboard that assigns CTRL+Arrow keys to something else?

Or are you on a MAC?

None of the above, I don't use the arrow keys, the mouse and the control key together.
Maybe i didn't explain correctly. How to move the cursor freely to move something (an object using the grip point) without turning off the ortho mode? Using windows pc.

That would be holding down the SHIFT key while in a command to deactivate ORTHO temporarily (there is a 1-second delay before activation).

What do you have TEMPOVERRIDES command set to? Look it up in HELP, try the default listed there.

It worked out when I set TEMPOOVERRIDES to 1.

Thanks!
