Command line makes drawing flickering and won't allow to click anywhere on page

Everytime i turn on my command bar, the drawing gets really lagging and I can't click anywhere.

Looks like the command bar is responding to every movement as a function making it impossible to work unless it is turned off.

Any points on how to fix the command bar?

In the video I attached my computer mouse is moving the whole time but the cursor won't follow rapidly the mouse movement.

Hi,

would you please drag the command window to dock and resize it, then see if any changes ? >> Click <<

Hey @SIMON.CORRIVEAU

Is it just one drawing or the behavior is universal to all the drawings you work on?

So... R2017 is not new, so what is all of a sudden different that you are having this issue?
Or have you just been quietly suffering for 4+years now?

Post screenshots of your ABOUT and GRAPHICSCONFIG commands pop-ups please.

This is a universal problem and it seems to affect my Autocad 2016 as well.

New behavior from last week.

I'm not sure what you want me to post for the ''about''

ABOUT command in R2017 brings up a pop-up: post that screenshot.

>>>...New behavior from last week....<<<
In GraphicsConfig command, turn off hardware acceleration in 2017 (and 2016) and see if this new sudden problem goes away: you had a conflicting update installed that does not play well with your old software. You face a huge challenge now to finding out what it is and removing it.

I reinstalled it and the problem stopped yesterday. Opened a drawing today and it started doing it again, it seems that as soon as i turn on the command line "Ctrl+9'' i'm automatically locked in the command bar (can't click anywhere else on the drawing or any commands on the dock).
