Hello all,
I have a very strange behavior. When I type a command on the command line, the response time of initiating the command is very slow (1-2 seconds) and seems to cause the quick access toolbar to flash. The whole toolbar will go white a split second then go back to normal. It flashes like this after every keystroke, so if I enter a 2-letter command, it flashes twice...3-letter command it flashes 3 times. I'd upload a screenshot, but it only happens for a split-second.
Has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it? The only way I've been able to get rid of it is to close the command line completely and keep the Text Window open on my second screen, but then I lose the autocomplete feature. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Chris.
Hi,
which version and service pack of AutoCAD, which operating system and which graphiccard are you using?
I would start with using the command line docked instead of the one-line mode.

AutoCAD 2018 with all updates installed.
Running Windows 10 Pro with an AMD Radeon R7 200 Series.
I have had the command line docked. It still does it.

Hi,
>> Command line causing flashing quick access toolbar
can you please show us a video from that flashing issue?
Also (in that video) start commands _ABOUT as well as command _GRAPHICSCONFIG so we can see more details about your settings.
A video can be created using e.g. Autodesk Screencast (>>>free download<<<)

Hi,
>> I have similar issues?
Which version of AutoCAD (screenshot of command _ABOUT)?
Which graphic card (screenshot of command _GRAPHICSCONFIG)?
Which operating system?
Does the QAT flash all the time or just for some specific actions.
