Hello, my problem is how do I make the dialog screen of the commands bigger because it does not allow me to visualize in this version of 2024, the options for example if I want to make a polygon, I press the command then I indicate the sides 5, then the box of the inscribed or circumscribed option is the one that is not displayed because it comes out cut, how can I make it big?

if you're using a high definition screen on Windows 10 try this setting on the shortcut that you use to launch AutoCAD:

  • Adjust display settings Windows 10
Right-click the application, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and then select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings check box.

  • Or
  • Change application properties In Explorer or on the Start menu, right-click the application name, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and then select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings check box.

Note: In Windows 10 Version 1703 and later version of Windows, the text of the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings option is changed to Override high DPI scaling behavior, scaling performed by: Application.

[... or use the command line, where the option is offered, instead of out-in-the-screen dynamic mode, whether or not you shut off dynamic mode with F12.]

@agalvanm This is the pop-up that you are looking for, yes?

The above is from AutoCAD2024.1 in Win10Pro: is that what your ABOUT command says about your 2024 version or something else?

you could also try setting GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2024 to see if that clears it up for you.

Hi thanks for your answer, but what if I don't have W10? I'm using W8 and I activated your recommendation and still can't see it.

Hi thanks for your answer but one is used to see the option when you get the command, but it works if you see it in the toolbar, what I see is that I will have to uninstall this version and return to 2023.

Hello thanks for your answer, if that picture is the one that I can not see but apparently it is for using windows 8 I can not upgrade my computer to 10, so I will have to use Autocad 2023.

Windows8? I don't have access to that, it is also not a supported OS for AutoCAD2024 which means no one at Autodesk is ever going to help you find a solution

AutoCAD 2021, which is still available, is the last new AutoCAD version that was supported in Windows 8(8.1 to be exact), read about it here

Enter Command GraphicsConfig

and turn Off Hardware Acceleration to see if that makes a difference.
