Close Block Editor - command tweak

I have an issue which has been noted that after closing the block editor Autocad runs very slowly, the solution to speed it back up is to perform a zoom extents.

I therefore had the brainwave to edit the 'close block editor' command to add 'zoom extents', then 'zoom previous' (simply added ' Z E Z P ) to the command. It seemed to work really well, untill i realised the box that pops up when you close the editor asking 'save' or 'discard changes' no longer pops up, it only requests it at the command line.

Anyway I can have both added command and the pop up box?

adding

(setvar "filedia" 1)

should do it.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting your question here. Did @scottwilcox1989's suggestion help you resolve the issue, or do you still need help with this?

Hi, where would this sit in the macro?

its currently :

^C^C_BCLOSE Z E Z P

adding it like so:

^C^C_BCLOSE Z E Z P setvar "filedia" 1

 or

^C^Csetvar "filedia" 1 _BCLOSE Z E Z P

or still gives the command line request for the save/discard.
