Circles and Ellipses Ghosting

Hi

I have what is becoming a huge problem

When printing a drawing or making a pdf, I have ellipses and circles showing up, even when the layer is turned off.

This creates huge problems, I cannot control them!

I have a very large job going out and need this fixed now, I am running AutoCAD 2017.

Anyone else have his problem?

Thanks in advance

FREEZE instead of OFF for the layer, does the issue disappear?
Does this happen in all files, or just this one?
What PDF driver are you using?

Thanks for the answer

Unfortunately, I have turned off the layer, frozen it and made it
unprintable and it still prints out.

We are on a network, I am the only one on AutoCAD 2017 and the only one it
happens too. I am the Senior Tech in my dept, I have many print jobs and
Addendums , very busy right now and it means I cannot print from my
computer. I was hoping it was a variable, but cannot find one specific to
ellipses.

Any other ideas?

Cille,

We need to see what you're seeing. Can you post a Screen Shot?

Can you show me this DWG file please? I cannot reproduce the problem at all in any of my files in AutoCAD2017.

Worked for me as well.  I had ellipses from turned off layers showing up all over my drawings!

Thanks.  Wish I had looked for this answer before I whited them out and sent drawings off.....
