Changing color from an imported model in a cut view

Hi!

I am trying to create a cut view from a model. I have a model as IFC linked in my model and I will like it to show the lines of this imported model in another color. Thing is, I have several model imported and I would like to change the color of just one. Is that possible?

Attached a picture.

This part is the only one I would like to change to magenta.

Thank you in advance!

I have no experience with the IFC format.

One way to change the colour of some elements is to create a block with those elements, change the colour of them inside the block to ByBlock. Now you can change the colour of these items by setting the colour of your block to magenta.

Another way could be to put these elements on a separate layer and change the settings of this layer. (The layer properties manager can be opened with the command LAYER)

It is even possible to change the colour of objects from linked sources (like XREFs) with this method. (Only if the colours of them are set to ByLayer)
