Change multiple layer names text in Layer Properties manager

Hello AutoCAD users,

I have a other question which can be related to the same threat headline, this while looking for a solution.

(Here a new threat just added multiple to the headline)

So I do not know if this has been asked before?

Question = there a easy way or lisp file that will chance multiple layer text inside your layer properties manager from one text to another text? Let’s say for example all layer with part inside the layer name called XXX-025-XXX-XXX to XXX-018-XXX-XXX

I have over 200 (I was modest in the previous threat it are over 620) layer name that need to be renamed from WE to OI inside a part of the layer name.

Anyone here that knows of a solution that I do not know yet? 😉

Hi,

you could use "RENAME" to rename the layer.

Like this,

Old Name: XXX-025-*

Rename To: XXX-018-*
