Change entire layer by clicking color button then layer

Not applicable

I inherited a computer at work where someone installed a row of colored buttons (see pic).

When I click on a color, then click on a line, the layer that the line is on changes to that color.

Does anyone know what these buttons are called and how to install them? The person who did this left ages ago, and my colleagues would like the same set up. Thanks!

AFAIK, those are custom buttons. You can right click on one and dig into the macro to see the commands they are executing.

Someone who is still using toolbars with custom buttons will have to tell you how to transfer them to other machines.

Undock that toolbar, hover the pointer over the grab area
and a tooltip will show the toolbar name.
From there, command CUI and expand the toolbar section
in the upper-left pane.
Select one of the definitions (buttons) and the command
name will be highlighted in the lower-left pane.
In the lower-right pane is the macro and other information...
