Change default setings from ByLayer to ByBlock

Hello,

I have a template file and I want to change the Properties, for any solid modelled under Layer "0", from ByLayer to ByBlock ( Color and Material).

Any idea on how to do that?

Hi,

I doubt you can do that. You cannot assign bylayer or byblock for the layer, you can only assign it to objects.

You can do this with AutoLISP, Add an example of your .dwg that I will try to write something for you.
