Cant disable searchable text in PDFs

We have a government client who uses an archaic website that requires PDF's not have any embedded information, like bookmarks and text searchability.

When I configure my DWG to PDF.pc3 to 'Convert all text to geometry', and uncheck 'Create bookmarks', the resulting PDF's still contains searchable text as 'Markups'.

How can I disable this?

Hello @dtiemeyer,

From your Adobe PDF, open the file exported and Reprint to PDF.  Under the settings - default is Document and Markups.  Change this to Document only and print (with a new name).

This should remove the markup issue.

Hope this helps,

Kenny

It would be nice if this was an option in the plotter settings, so that I could create 2 sets of plotter settings making it easier for my users to choose. But, thank you, this does control the behavior that I need it to. Cheers!
